Megan Laughinghouse is a professional pet photographer and owner of Giggle Shack Studio. With a Master of Science in Canine Cognition and a Bachelor of Science in Communications, Megan has both academics and experience to create exceptional portraits of your pets to cherish for years to come.

Megan and her family recently relocated to Indianapolis from Wilmington, NC where she got her start in professional photography. Prior to dabbling in freelance photography for the past few years, Megan was the official in-house photographer for a Wilmington-based non-profit organization that raises, trains, and places service dogs. Photographing everything from graduations to birth announcements, to commercial calendars and more, Megan learned first-hand many tricks of the trade. Channeling both her education and previous experience allows Giggle Shack Studio to offer a unique advantage when working with your four-legged friends.

Next to photography, customer experience is top priority. Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service in addition to a memorable occasion while in front of the lens and with the keepsakes you'll treasure long after your session. Giggle Shack Studio aims to provide a fun atmosphere to capture the truest to life photos whether it is an full photoshoot at an outdoor location or an express photoshoot at our in-home studio. It is our hope that Giggle Shack Studio becomes the go-to pet photographer for the greater Indianapolis area. 

Megan enjoys capturing photos of your pets through all stages of life. From Senior Sessions, to New Puppy Announcements, or Pups in their Prime, Megan puts the utmost care into each and every detail of her appointments.

Giggle Shack Studio is a big supporter of the rescue pet movement. Megan hopes to donate her services to local shelters and rescue groups in an effort to not only help pets find forever homes, but to also encourage them feel the love they’ve been longing while waiting for their new families to find them.
